It isn’t enough just to say that you want to get some weed. If you want the dankest bud out there, you need to get your education. No, you don’t need to worry about who sailed the ocean blue in 1492. You do need to know what’s out there though.
Different strain types aside, there are three main marijuana types and classifications.
Today we will provide an overview of those classifications so that you can head on over to your local dispensary with the right information.
Let’s take a look.
Reggie is what you might call entry level bud. You will also hear people call it “dirt weed,” and yes, the term is exactly as unflattering as it sounds.
These days, you don’t see a lot of reggie anymore but many people in the country are still smoking it. Weed is so good now that most people aren’t willing to settle for less than the best.
There is still some of it out there of course, and it is to your benefit to be able to recognize it when you see it.
Reggie is usually drier than danker bud, and it is really, really harsh on the lungs. The buzz is also usually pretty unrefined, but it will work in a tight spot.
The only benefit of reggie is that it is usually pretty cheap.
That said, if you have a few extra bucks to spend, you won’t regret upgrading.
Speaking of upgrades….
Now for the mids. Certainly nothing wrong with this stuff. It isn’t good for a KO the same way that top shelf dank bud is, but it will certainly be just fine to cozy up with at the end of a long work week.
Mid-grade bud can be green and sticky like primo kush, and in fact, imbibing novices may struggle to find any difference at all.
Mid-grade marijuana is going to be pricier than reggie, but it will still be friendlier to the wallet than the top-shelf stuff.
Top Shelf Kush:
You just can’t beat this stuff. This isn’t the weed from the sixties. Dank kush comes from the decades of research in the medical and legal recreational marijuana realms. This stuff has been engineered from seed to sprout for greatness, and the hard work of scientists and growers alike has paid off in a big bad way.
The potency of the best cannabis on the market can have a THC level of about 35-40% which is more than enough to get you nice and relaxed for the weekend.
You do have to pay top dollar for primo kush, but the experience is usually thought to be well worth it.
So, which classification of cannabis are you going to reach for the next time you want to unwind after a long day?
The nature of our profile today is to rank different types of weed, and indeed, some categories of kush are better than others. Even with that said though, there is no such thing as bad weed. It’s like ice cream. You’re pretty much going to have a good time with it no matter what.
